What The Forge is
The Forge is a goal-execution program: a tracking app, weekly scoring, and a coaching assistant. It comes in two lengths. The 90-day sprint (13 weeks: twelve scored, one close-out) is the product. The 4-week challenge is a shorter, single-goal version sold through the Stoic Spartans community on Skool and opened here with an access code. The coach — Optio, or whichever guide you choose — is an AI, not a human, and not a licensed professional of any kind. It offers structure and accountability, not medical, psychological, financial or legal advice.
Who can use it
You must be 18 or older. The Forge is sold for use in Canada and the United States, except Washington State and Quebec. By purchasing you confirm you do not live in either of those two.
Both exclusions are the same admission: a one-person company cannot meet those obligations properly yet, and half-meeting them would be worse than staying out. Washington's My Health My Data Act treats what you log here as consumer health data and attaches rules we are not yet equipped to honour end to end. Quebec's Charter of the French Language requires a French version equal in content, presentation and function — which for us means Optio coaching you in French, not an English product with translated buttons. We would rather say no than pretend.
Be clear about what that restriction is: a term you are agreeing to, not a wall we put up. Stripe Checkout will accept a card from anywhere in the world, and we do not block anyone by location or IP. If an account is opened from outside those regions we may refund it and close it, but nothing stops you at the door — so the honest position is that we are telling you where this product is meant to be used and trusting you.
Price and payment
The setup interview is free. Starting a 90-day sprint is a one-time payment for one 13-week cycle. The exact amount is shown on the contract page before any card is asked for, and that is the amount charged. The list price is $99 USD; while founding seats remain, the founding price is $35 USD, and a member who pays it keeps that price for every later cycle they buy, whatever the list price becomes. It is not a subscription: nothing renews, and no further charge ever occurs without a new, explicit purchase by you. Payment is processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card number. You may restart the cycle from Settings as many times as you want during those 13 weeks — that window does not reset. After it ends, a new cycle is a new purchase. If you refunded, you may restart only until 21 days after purchase.
The 4-week challenge is bought on Skool ($6 USD, one-time) under Skool's purchase terms, not through this site. The access code it gives you opens one challenge per person, ever; it cannot be resold or reused. A challenge is not refundable here — the money never passed through us. Finishing or leaving the challenge does not obligate you to anything; continuing into the 90-day sprint is a separate, explicit purchase at the price shown to you at the time.
Referrals. A member who buys a 90-day sprint gets a referral code. Someone who enters it at checkout pays $5 less; the referrer receives a $5 credit toward their own next cycle. Credits never reduce a charge below $5, are not cash, and expire with the account.
The guarantee
First paid cycle only. Twenty-one days, money back, no questions asked. If The Forge hasn't moved you, request a refund from Billing within 21 days of your first purchase and we refund the full amount you paid to the card that paid. There is no condition to meet and nothing to prove — you do not have to have logged a single day.
If you request a refund, we send the money back. That does not cut your access short. You keep full use of The Forge until 21 days after your purchase. After that date, if the refund is on file, the site locks. The only thing left in the app is deleting your account.
Your logs are not deleted by a refund. Deleting the account is a separate action. During those 21 days you can still start a new cycle if you want to continue. If the 21 days pass and you did not request a refund, nothing locks at day 21 — you keep the rest of the 13 weeks. A later purchase has no self-serve guarantee; write to us if something is wrong. A bank dispute is not a Billing refund and may end access when we are notified.
When the 13 weeks end
If you did not refund, payment bought a window of 13 weeks, not unlimited restarts. When those 13 weeks are up the tracker becomes read-only. You can still open Account, Billing, Settings, and FAQ. To run another cycle, archive from Settings (or the contract page if Settings is frozen), then pay again. That is a different lock from the guarantee: a refunded first cycle locks at day 21 from purchase, and then the only in-app action is deleting the account.
Your data and your content
Your goals, logs and scores are yours. We use them to run the product — including sending what's needed to the AI coach to coach you — and for nothing else. The only person who can ever see any of it is a partner you explicitly invite, and they see only the weekly snapshot you choose to share. See the privacy policy.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account from Account. That deletion is permanent. It removes your tracker, notes, and coach conversations from our database. It does not erase Stripe's payment records. It cannot un-send a snapshot a partner already received. Details: the privacy policy.
Deleting the account is separate from taking a refund. A refund does not delete your logs. You keep full use until 21 days after purchase; after that, if you refunded, the site locks and deletion is the remaining action.
Emails and in-app notes
We will send operational email the account needs: verification (via Clerk), a purchase confirmation, a refund confirmation (money back and the date full access ends if you refunded), a reminder before that lock, partner invites you requested, and (if you have not turned them off) reminders that nothing was logged on a day you can still use the tracker.
Inside the app you will see a few short notes from the founder — one when you join, and one after each of your first weekly reviews. They appear on your dashboard, once each, and are not emails.
Marketing email (stories, offers, new-cycle pitches) is optional. We will not send it unless you opt in. You can unsubscribe. Signing up and paying do not require that opt-in.
Acceptable use
One account per person. Don't abuse the coach, probe the service for vulnerabilities, or resell access. We can suspend accounts that do, with a refund of the unused portion at our discretion.
Liability
The Forge is provided as-is. To the maximum extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the app before they take effect. Questions, refunds, anything: varsal@autoopsai.ca.
